Trump Repulsion Psychosis infecting journalists

Long time journalist and former co-host of NBC’s Today Show Katie Couric admitted she was in the throes of a mental breakdown during a panel discussion about President Donald Trump at the 2020 Makers Conference on Wednesday.

Fox News has come under withering attack from the Resistance Media for is more balanced coverage of the president.

“Sometimes I watch Fox just to see how they’re covering things, and I don’t know why I’m shocked every time I watch it, but it’s just an alternate universe,” Couric said. “And it is crazy to me. And anyway, it just, it makes me crazy.

“They’re getting affirmation, not information. As a result, they are not actually understanding facts and truth,” she continued. “I mean, if you want to talk about fake news, that’s state-run television, really.”

Fox News Host Sean Hannity heard about her plight and offered her an invitation to appear on his show. “Let’s talk it out,” said Hannity on Friday night. I’ll offer you free therapy right here. You’ve already met me. I’m not a horrible person!”

Could he extend that offer to all the other media psychos who have been exhibiting clear signs of rage, agitation and disassociation from reality in various degrees since Trump became president?

Let’s start with longtime ABC White House correspondent Sam Donaldson who went on an explosive rant on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 on Friday while endorsing Michael Bloomberg for the White House.

“We are in the grip, Anderson, of a sick, ignorant man,” said Donaldson. He’s mean, he’s corrupt. And if we don’t get this right, we may lose the things that have made this country the best place to live in the world and that shining city on the hill that Ronald Reagan used to talk about, which was the envy of the world. So I’m in it,” the newsman asserted.

Could we also cart off all the news anchors and correspondents for ABC News, CBS News CNN and MSNBC to the psych ward? Trump Repulsion Psychosis is really taking hold like the coronavirus in those newsrooms.

MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace went ballistic last Monday during a panel discussion about presidential candidate Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders while waiting for results from the Iowa Democratic caucuses.

“The enemy is the guy in the Oval Office who thinks there are good people on both sides in Charlottesville,” said Wallace. “The enemy is the guy in the Oval Office who got a permission slip to cheat in presidential elections. The enemy is a guy who calls his generals dopes and losers. I am nauseous when I see Democrats fight amongst themselves,” she added.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld criticized mainstream journalists on Friday’s edition of The Five for their besotted adulation of former media darling attorney Michael Avenatti.

He was convicted by a federal jury in Manhattan on Friday  for trying to extort athletic wear giant Nike. He made hundreds of appearances on CNN and MSNBC while representing adult film star Stormy Daniels. Gutfeld said journalists latched onto him because they thought he could damage Trump.

“The Five saw him for what he was, but the clowns from the [media] … they couldn’t because they have a deranged filter,” Gutfeld said. “All they saw when they looked at this clown was somebody that could hurt Trump, so they all lined up to kiss the bald bozo’s ring,”

He played a montage featuring CNN anchors Christopher Cuomo and Don Lemon, MSNBC hosts Chris Matthews and Lawrence O’Donnell, and CBS Late Show host Stephen Colbert fawning over Avenatti.

“This is a piece of evidence that shows you the corporate media cannot be trusted,” Gutfeld said. They’ll take in anybody. They are a tribe looking for a savior and that’s what they saw in this guy.”

The relentless, loony attacks of these media cads seem to be boomeranging on them. They may have to trudge on through another four years of the man they despise if Trump wins in November.
