Former vice president Joe Biden embraced the Democratic Party’s bourgeoning philosophy of immigrant supremacy at a presidential primary campaign event in Rock Hill, South Carolina on Thursday.
“The people who come are people who have courage, who have resilience, people who have optimism,” Biden said of the flood of migrants flocking to America’s borders.
He argued that young illegals, known as Dreamers, who receive temporary residency under DACA (Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals) are “more American.”
.“We have to find a pathway for dreamers — these kids who come, and they end up doing well. They become American before a lot of Americans become Americans — No, I’m serious, they get in school, they do well, they contribute to the community, they contribute to the country,” said Biden.
He is giving legitimacy to claims made by critics like Fox News prime-time host Judge Jeanine Pirro, author of a new book, Radicals, Resistance, and Revenge: The Left’s Plot to Remake America.
“You can’t tell these people trying to come into this country to just go ahead and break the law. Yet they’re being told to do that. You can’t tell hard-working Americans that they now have to pay for free health care for illegal aliens,” the author told Washington Times columnist Jennifer Harper this week.
During another promotional appearance with Fox Nation radio host Todd Starnes on Wednesday, she said, “Their plan and their plot to remake America is to bring in the illegals, change the way the voting occurs in this country, give them licenses, they get to vote maybe once, maybe twice, maybe three times.”
“You’ve got motor voter registration on the day of the election, we’ve got voter rolls that haven’t been purged of dead people in years, where the Democrats have resisted that,” she added.
“Think about that, it is a plot to remake America. To replace American citizens with illegals who will vote for the Democrats,” she claimed, stirring controversy.
Democrats have systematically usurped and trampled on the rights of American citizens to control their own borders, determine who lives in their country, who leads their country, who takes their jobs and uses their social services. They are empowering illegals with rights and entitlements that supersede everyone else.
The needs and desires of illegal aliens and asylum seekers have been at the forefront of many recent policy proposals supported by Democratic governors, mayors and representatives in Congress.
Democratic candidates like Corey Booker have been spending valuable time campaigning at the border, visiting migrant shelters and offering aid and comfort to illegals.
These migrants are now protesting in the streets and hijacking our legislative process, demanding legal status.
Others lobby to prevent Americans from even using the word illegal, calling it ‘hate speech. Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas), recently introduced legislation to strike “alien” and “illegal alien” from the federal law books and replace them with “foreign national” and “undocumented foreign national,” a measure supported by his twin brother, Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro.
The bill, “Correcting Alienating Names in Government Act,” or CHANGE Act, is “integral to creating a more welcoming and inclusive environment for incoming and current immigrants living in the United States,” said Castro.
He argued that the term “illegal alien” stigmatizes the behavior of foreigners living unlawfully in the United States.
This is just another proposal which would effectively decriminalize border crossings, and flood the country with migrants.
Sanctuary cities run by Democrats have virtually neutralized laws against illegal immigration by sheltering illegals from deportation, allowing them to obtain driver’s licenses and facilitating their ability to find jobs, go to school, receive subsidized health care and even vote in local elections. Some illegals who commit violent crimes are not even being turned over to law enforcement.
Some states like Florida have already passed laws allowing illegal aliens going to colleges to pay in-state, resident tuition rates, while others have scholarships set aside for them.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio recently allowed 725,000 eligible illegal aliens to enter the lottery for the few remaining spots in new homeless shelters in the city.
Democrats fought successfully to exclude a citizenship question from the census form, contending that it would scare illegals from participating, leading to an under count which would impact federal funds given to the states.
America has one of the most generous legal immigration systems in the world. Yet it is simply not good enough for Democrats. Despite polls showing that the majority of Americans do not support their campaign to encourage border crossers, they continue to incentivize them with more handouts. There will have to be a reckoning at the polls in 2020.
